Over the last decade, hundreds of fantastic posts on Mormon feminism have been composed. We at WAVE feel that it’s crucial to create a catalog of Mormon feminist posts from around the bloggernacle, so that those who are searching for ways to think about these issues can quickly and easily access the ideas of others who have had similar thoughts or questions.

This talk discusses the importance of a woman’s role both in the pre-existance, this life, and the eternities based on symbolism from the creation. It’s pretty amazing.

This isn’t a blog post, but it is from lds.org: http://lds.org/ensign/1979/06/steadfastness-and-patient-endurance-the-legacy-of-edward-partridge?lang=eng
My husband used this to teach seminary this week. I thought it was interesting because the title is “Steadfastness and Patient Endurance”: The Legacy of Edward Partridge, but halfway down the article, Edward dies and the piece becomes entirely about his daughters and the trials they endured as polygamous wives.
It made me wonder how many other gems about women in the Church on lds.org I miss because I’m glancing at a title and making a quick decision about what the piece is about.
