Welcome to WAVE!
We are a group of LDS women committed to the gospel of Jesus Christ and interested in advancing gender equity within the LDS church. We are working on exciting plans to support members in their efforts to work together in a charitable and effective manner to encourage each member’s full participation in the gospel.
As we work behind the scenes, please consider supporting our efforts. For a suggested donation of $10 you can help WAVE achieve its goal to produce a dynamic and easily accessible website full of information helpful in working towards greater gender equality.
“Mother Wove the Morning” is a one-woman play that Carol Lynn Pearson wrote and performed over three hundred times, portraying sixteen women throughout history in search of God the Mother. A belief in God the Mother is one of the doctrines of the LDS church that WAVE aims to understand better through seeking further revelation and guidance from church leaders.
Through a generous gift from Carol Lynn Pearson, WAVE is selling copies of “Mother Wove the Morning” as a fundraiser to help the organization get started and pursue our vision for greater equality in the LDS church.
Carol Lynn also has DVD’s of a performance of Mother Wove the Morning available for sale at her website.
